Bir kullan\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n istemcisinin di\u011fer bir kullan\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n mail sunucusuna istek g\u00f6nderme i\u015flemi SMTP ile olmaktad\u0131r. Mail i\u00e7erisinde istenmeyen bir verinin olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n kontrol edilmesi sonucunda onay verilmekte ve ard\u0131ndan al\u0131c\u0131 kullan\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n mail kutusunda mail g\u00f6z\u00fckmektedir. SMTP; e-posta al\u0131\u015fveri\u015finin daha g\u00fcvenli hale gelmesini sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r. SMTP\u2019nin zaman i\u00e7erisindeki geli\u015fimine bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda; g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze kadar ula\u015fmay\u0131 ba\u015farm\u0131\u015f olan ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 internet e-posta protokolleri aras\u0131ndan say\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>SMTP\u2019nin Tarih\u00e7esi Nedir?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><b>SMTP\u2019nin ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131na<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda; SMTP protokol\u00fcn\u00fcn ilk kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 1982 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 bulmu\u015ftur. 1960l\u0131 y\u0131llar ile beraber farkl\u0131 y\u00f6ntemler kullan\u0131l\u0131rken art\u0131k POSTEL firmas\u0131 SMTP protokol\u00fcn\u00fc standart haline getirmi\u015ftir ve rfc788 kodu ile duyurulmu\u015ftur. POSTEL firmas\u0131n\u0131n sahibi ise; Jonathan Postel olmaktad\u0131r. Bir s\u00fcre sonra ise; Unix BSD bazl\u0131 SMTP sunucusu Sendmail ayn\u0131 kod ile yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. A\u00e7\u0131k kaynak kodlu Linux i\u015fletim sistemlerinin sunucu hizmetleri daha \u00e7ok tercih edilmeye ba\u015fland\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in zaman i\u00e7erisinde Sendmail mail aktar\u0131m arac\u0131s\u0131 olarak daha fazla kullan\u0131lmaya ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde mail server hizmeti veren yaz\u0131l\u0131mlardan baz\u0131lar\u0131 ise; Exim, Postfix, Qmail, Mail Enable, Microsoft Exchange, Icewarp, hMail gibi yaz\u0131l\u0131mlar olmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>SMTP \u0130\u015fleyi\u015fi Nas\u0131ld\u0131r?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>SMTP \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma prensibine<\/u>\u00a0bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda; \u00fc\u00e7 a\u015famal\u0131 bir i\u015flem modeli ile faaliyet g\u00f6stermektedir. Bir istemci, g\u00f6nderen sunucu ve alan sunucu s\u0131ras\u0131 ile \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaktad\u0131r. \u0130\u015fleyi\u015fte ilk \u00f6nce Outlook, Webmail gibi e-posta istemcisinden g\u00f6nderilmi\u015f olan e-posta sunucusuna mesaj g\u00f6nderirken SMTP hizmeti kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Sonras\u0131nda e-posta sunucusu e-postan\u0131n al\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n e-posta sunucusuna g\u00f6nderilmesi i\u00e7in ge\u00e7i\u015f hizmeti amac\u0131 ile SMTP hizmetini kullanmaktad\u0131r. Ard\u0131ndan al\u0131c\u0131 sunucu kendisine iletilen e-postay\u0131 IMAP ya da POP3 arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile indirmek i\u00e7in yine Outlook, Webmail gibi e-posta istemcisini kullanmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>SMTP\u2019nin Kullan\u0131m Amac\u0131 Nedir?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><b>SMTP\u2019ye ihtiya\u00e7 duyulma sebebine<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda; en basit hali ile iki bilgisayar aras\u0131nda ayn\u0131 dilin konu\u015fulabilmesi i\u00e7in kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00f6ylenebilmektedir. \u0130stemci sunucu, belirli kodlar ile al\u0131c\u0131 sunucuya ula\u015fmaktad\u0131r ve ard\u0131ndan onay verilmesi ile i\u015flem ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmektedir. Masa\u00fcst\u00fc ve ta\u015f\u0131nabilir bilgisayarlar ya da mobil cihazlar ile posta kutusundan g\u00f6nderilmek istenen e-maillerin al\u0131c\u0131 adresine ula\u015ft\u0131r\u0131labilmesi i\u00e7in SMTP kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. G\u00fcvenlik katmanlar\u0131 ise SSL ve TLS\u2019tir. \u0130stemci ve g\u00f6nderen sunucu aras\u0131nda en s\u0131k tercih edileni ise; <strong><b>SMTP<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Submission olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan 587 numaral\u0131 port ve TLS g\u00fcvenlik katman\u0131 olmaktad\u0131r. 587 numaral\u0131 portun kullan\u0131m nedeni ise; T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki servis sa\u011flay\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n spam ile m\u00fccadele ad\u0131na IP bloklar\u0131ndaki 25 numaral\u0131 portu kapatm\u0131\u015f olmalar\u0131d\u0131r. 25 numaral\u0131 portun kapat\u0131lmas\u0131 ile beraber T\u00fcrkiye mail g\u00f6nderen \u00fclkeler i\u00e7erisinde gerilemi\u015ftir. Mail g\u00f6nderen ve alan sunucular aras\u0131nda s\u0131kl\u0131kla kullan\u0131lan\u0131 ise; 25 numaral\u0131 port olmaktad\u0131r.
